Okay, first of all, What you are asserting is entirely subjective. In other words, it is completely opinion based on your biases. To state that a team of paid athletes "didn't even try" is completely amazing when taken with the objective FACT that the Dallas Cowboys were in the playoff hunt until the very last game of the season. And if the Lions "played with heart" as you stated, would they not have won at least ONE of their sixteen games ???? Secondly, it is completely preposterous to assert that a winless team is "better" than said another team which won 9 games that season.
Coyboys, Lions, and 4 other teams.
They played each other twice in the superbowl in back to back years.
Rivals Dallas and Washington have played each other in season openers nine times. The Cowboys are 6-2-1 in those games.
Romo played his college ball at Eastern Illinois University. He signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent and has been on their roster since 2004. He has played for no other team than the Cowboys in his professional career.
The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys played against each other three times. The Steelers won Super Bowls X and XIII; the Cowboys won Super Bowl XXX.
Because the National Football League regularly rotates interconference and intraconference games between divisions, the Dallas Cowboys have played all of the other 31 teams.
They have played nine times with the Raiders winning the majority with 6.
Through the 2016 regular season, the Dallas Cowboys have played the Philadelphia Eagles 116 times in regular-season and playoff games. The Cowboys have played the Washington Redskins 114 times, the New York Giants 111 times, and the St. Louis/Arizona Cardinals 88 times.
