Any activity that entails moving, running, pumping your heart is beneficial to your health. Softball has alot of this. Being on a team also helps how you relate with people socially, being in a team also helps on other values which helps on your outlook on life.

Softball also sharpens your mind as you come up with different strategies to win the game.
