in swimming just like other sports the object is to win. You receive points or a "score" depending on the place you receive generally 1st gets 20 point and then the points gradually go down in value until you reach the person in 8th place who generally gets 1 point
you cant 'score points in swimming' if you are competing in a race against other swimmers and you finish 1st 2nd or 3rd you will get a medal
Either bowling,swimming,tennis,or golf
synchronized swimming is anOlympic sport. it combines dance acrobatics gymnastics and swimming. there are routines preformed and figures. the categories for routines are team trio duet solo all of which are preformed to music. figures are preformed individually. team is scored on artistic impression and technical difficulty. figures are completely technical. when you get your final score for team your figure score and team score is half-ed with your routine score then that is how you are placed. if there are anymore questions about bathing suits or anything i am i synchronized swimmer! :) http:/www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVgqadfiLJA this is the Russian synchro teams
It depends, time or points. You want a low time. You want a lot of points.
