To co-ordinate a Netball shot is to make sure that both feet are facing the netball post when you receive the ball in the circle and the distance that you want to take the shot at.

When you do the split, as you bring your front leg in to meet and turn your back leg, turn your foot around, but keeping it grounded so you do not step, make sure that it is facing the goal post, and your co-ordination shall be spot on, and all you have to work on is the strenthg of your pass towards the goal.

Try practsing right in front of the goal post first and then move outwards, making sure that you're feet are facing the post, and your accuracy shall be right on.

What does the Goal Defense do in netball?

In netball, GD (goal defence) defends the goal attack and trys to stop them getting the ball down the court. If the goal attack gets the ball into the circle and under the ring then the goal defence must defend him/her and attempt to catch the rebound if the shot misses. The goal defence must then help to pass the ball back down the court to their attacking team members.

What type of NHL shot qualifies for a NHL shot on goal?

There is no NHL definition or rule of a shot, therefore, a shot on goal is up to the discretion of the official scorer. But in general terms, a shot on goal is a shot that is taken with the intent to score that either goes into the net for a goal or the goalie saves from going into the net for a goal. A shot that hits the goalpost or crossbar, or a shot the goalie stops that would not have gone in the net is not considered a shot on goal. A clearing pass that goes through everybody and winds up being stopped by the goalie is not considered a shot on goal because there was not intent by the 'shooter' to score a goal. Similarly an errant pass from a teammate that is stopped by the goalie is not considered a shot on goal.

Are there rebounds in netball?
