no i dont think
football and sometimes hockey
Yes i have used a mouth guard many times before these come in very handy when you play hockey or rugby so as not to get your teeth knocked out !
Equipment needed for hockey typically includes skates, a stick, a helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, shin guards, and a mouthguard. Goalies require additional equipment such as a goalie mask, chest protector, leg pads, blocker, and glove. Uniforms and a puck are also necessary for gameplay.
This list can go on for long, but in most sports, you need a helmet. I have the hockey answer though Player: A CSA approved helmet, elbow pads and shoulder pads, hockey pants, neck guard, gloves, slash guards (for a short cuff glove) shin guards, a cup and skates. Optional: mouth guard, in some leagues full masks, and in the Nhl, visors Goalie: Specialy made goalie cup, goalie pants, goalie pads, chest protector, blocker, catcher, helmet, skates and a neck guard. Optional: Neck guard that appears above the jersey. It is attached to the helmet
Well I do hockey and when I tell my team what to do My mouth guard slips but it should stay in place. I fit doesn't get a new mouth guard or mould it again. Hope this helps Anna
It all depends on the age/regulations of the leagueThese are the requirements for most leagues:Jock strapShin guardsBreezers/pantsSkatesShoulder padselbow guardsgloveshelmet/usually facemaskmouthguardneck guard-usually in youth leaguesdon't forget your stickSkates, helmet, gloves, cup or jock, shinpads, hockey socks, hockey pants, elbowpads, shoulderpads, neckguard, jersey and stick.
In ice hockey you should have a helmet (with a face mask), mouthgard, neck guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey gloves, hockey pants, shingaurds, and skates. You should also have hockey socks, garter belt (or something to hold up your socks), and a hockey jersey. Along with a hockey stick (FYI you should probably tape your stick with hockey tape.) Hope this was helpful to you.
buy a new mouth guard
You call it... An external mouth guard.
When you play hockey mostly required equipment is a cage helmet (street or roller hockey) or just a visor helmet for ice hockey (you can also have a cage helmet for ice) Every type of hockey you should have shin guards Have to have hockey gloves Have to have hockey stick obviously Some people recommend having a mouth guard. Some places make you have elbow pads while some don't.
Shock Doctor is a very effective mouth guard company. I have played hockey and lacrosse for many years, and I have always used Shock Doctor mouth guards. However, Gladiator mouth guards are also top notch.
yes, you should because if you fall on the ice the impact from your teeth crashing together will cause a bad injury unless your wearing a mouth gaurd which stops you from serious injuries
