no Oh yes he did ! Possibly the finest bowler of a cricket ball of all time, DK Lilley tried using an alumium bat, he wasn't the finest exponent of the art of batting, it was not a good idea & he was disgusted to be out as I remember. The cricketing authorities did not see this as a good move, & the Aluminium bat is probably now in a museum (or the dustbin !)
metal is actually harder and that is the reason the MLB does not use metal bats because they propel the ball at a significantly faster speed. - Clay
Metal bats hit the ball further which is why at unprofessional levels of baseball they use metal but when you get to the MLB you have to use wood.
Yes you are... Come on I thought you would know that
You use Dennis's when meaning, "belonging to Dennis." It's the possessive form of Dennis, which is a name.
Technically - that being according to the manufacturer's warranty - you shouldn't use an aluminum bat when the temperature goes below 50 degrees. Not because the metal is affected, but because in cold weather the ball gets harder. In reality you can use the bat down to about 40 degrees without much of a problem.
Metal most definitely, hence why Metal bats are not used beyond the college level. MLB studs are far too powerful to use anything but Wooden bats.
yes there is a difference because a major league baseball bat is wood and a girls are metal. also i minor leagues girls say softball and boys say baseball. once my friend was using a baseball bat and was hitting better. in softball you can not use a baseball bat! ---- never use a baseball bat in softball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
can u use a -3 aluminum bat in 13-15 babe ruth league play?
You use a base ball bat for hitting
Mo but you have to use a -3 bat in highschool
I did, but only because we didn't have the size I preferred! Metal bats are Superior to wood, and today few would what to use a wood bat, except MAYBE!! when bunting! IN FACT! IT's more likely, that metal bats would be band, for the safety of pitchers
