Probably more soccer players. But it is hardly fair to limit only one side to just one country. America has only 300 million of the over 6 billion people in the world. I would bet that there are more American football players than Tunisian soccer players.
Soccer. Way more running.
Soccer
Football is probably more popular. (That's soccer, not American Football!)
Football players are undoubtedly tougher than soccer players. Football players tackle each other every game, slam into each other, pile on top of each other, and is the sport most prone to injuries and concussions. Soccer players are tough for running endurance, but football players run hundreds of yards a game, just not as much as a soccer player. In all, football players are tougher than soccer players. Soccer is tougher because you don't wear protection from head to toe like in football. Where in soccer you tackle, kick, shoot and all that stuff without protection.
That is true in a way. In the US basketball is more popular than soccer. That is why basketball players are paid more. In other countries, soccer is more popular so soccer players get paid more. Soccer in the US is becoming increasingly popular. Soon soccer players could be paid as much as basketball players.
Football is the official name for soccer. Soccer comes from the Football asssociation. Only in the USA and Canada do they say soccer. The global name for football is of course football. The global name for American football is gridiron. Gridiron is a code of rugby or handball and not football. Football is a sport where players control the ball with their feet and only football does this. Football has more participants in north America and gridiron has more spectators. Mainly because Americans prefer football but struggle with the technicalities and so they do better at gridiron which is a more basic sport.
There are 11 players in a football team for either (American) football or "soccer".American football:There are 53 on the team plus a practice squad of 5. Only 11 can be on the field between the lines during play.11different positionsin the team onthe field, plus other players sitting onthe bench. That's for "soccer", but the same answer applies to "American football", with different numbers of substitutes.
Yes.
i think nfl football players
Football is soccer. Unless you are talking about American football which is more like rugby but the players wear crash helmets and kevlar because they don't want to get hurt. Also they have 100 players per team - e.g. players who come on to take a place kick and then go off again. Very strange. And there is like both 11 men on the feild.
If by football you mean soccer, then football would be more liked. If by Football you mean American Football, then Football would still be more liked. It's all a matter of personal opinion. Some people may like football more (regardless if it is proper football (soccer) or American football (as in the NFL)), while others, still, may enjoy rugby more.
If you mean how is said "soccer player" in spanish, the answer is "jugador de fútbol" or "futbolista". "Players" in general is "jugadores."For more soccer terms and positions in Spanish, see the related link below.
