For the most part yes. Get the cheapest quality bearings like milehighskate bearings (founs on milehighskates.com) or mini logo. It will ride just like expensive bearings. Abec doesn't make a difference in Skateboarding.

Buy a longboard!
I would say longboard because its bigger and more room. The penny is alot smaller so it could be harder staying on.
Two seasons have some but depending on what type of board you want check out Skate hut on-line they have a good selection!
A cruiser is a type of longboard, also referred to as a short-board. Longboards can be meant to do anything from sliding, free-riding, cruising around, and more. Cruisers are usually shorter and wider, and have very big, grippy, low durometer wheels meant for all kinds of terrain.
Yes, just swap your bearings from skate wheels to longboard wheels, its all the same.
A tiny one.
It depends on if you're strictly using your board to get around, or if you prefer to do tricks and the like. Although there are certain tricks that can be performed on a longboard, longboards are typically used for transportation and "Cruising".Cruiser Boards are usually Shortboards or "Shlongboards" that can be used for both cruising and street-tricks.Longboards are, well, longer, which allow the board to travel for a longer amount of time. If cruising is your main objective, then I would highly suggest a longboard.Go skate, and see what you like best.
