Why are male football more popular than women's football?

It may sound sexist, but for the most part male athletes are stronger, quicker and more athletic when compared directly to women. Relative to their individual sexes female athletes are certainly very talented and display huge amounts of athleticism. Unfortunately for female athletes their bodies let them down when compared directly with men.

Due to male body type, male sports tend to be played at a faster tempo and greater physicality is displayed when put side by side with women's sport. This it more interesting for spectators, allowing the male sports to gain greater popularity. As a result more money and promotion surround male sports.

Although side by side comparisons are unfair in this circumstance, it inevitable when talking about spectator popularity. However, nobody can help but admire the huge amounts of talent, dedication, skill and athleticism female athletes display.

Honestly I couldnt tell you but if you want my honest opinion it's this. Mens football is so much more popular because it's been around for a longer period of time and everyone grew up watching men's football. Womens football is not as popular because they dont play as much and it hasnt been around as long as mens. Also the nfl has 32 teams and college has more than that. No colleges have women football leagues so good luck

Soccer is more popular for men because men are more aggressive .Also because not lots of woman can play soccer. Because they don't know how to and because some countries do NOTallow woman to play soccer.They have to wash clothes cook, farm, and other things like that.

No offence to women but most people tend to find men's football more competitive, aggressive, entertaining and more pleasurable to watch.
