From my experiance as an ice skater, there is not always 4 judges. But why there is more then 2 or 3 judges is because each judge is looking for a different technique in your skating. Like, one is looking to make sure are your jumps are technically right. Another may be for your emotion and creativity and another may be looking at your speed and overall strategy. That's why sometimes judges scores can be so varied.

There are four judges in figure skating.
The judges count your score and see who has the most points!!!
Usually 2 or 3 And if your lucky sometimes 6.
in figure skating you have skates you do spins spirals and jumps on ice and get points for it when you do a fault you dont get many points who ever has the most points from the judges wins quite simple
The old scoring system is not used anymore.
Figure skating is not a race, and does not have a fastest time. There is a highest skill, but not a fastest time. Skaters are scored by a panel of judges based on the overall presentation, their execution of moves, and the difficulty of those moves.
Speed skating, figure skating, curling, and hockey.
my friends and i call it skating
I love figure skating!!
the similarities between speed skating and figure skating is that 1- they have to do forward crossovers when turning 2- they use ice skates 3- they have to know the basics of ice skating 4- they are capable of going to the olympics
