If you want to learn to skydive and become qualified, the age limit is 55 in the UK. This would be via an AFF course. However, there is no upper age limit for a tandem jump. In fact, I have seen one person aged 93 do a tandem jump for charity. Once you reach the age of 40, you will need a medical form signing by your doctor.
As long as you are in reasonable health, you should be able to freefall. Go for it!
As a New Zealander, I can only speak for NZ and Australia.
There is no age limit for tandem jump passengers in NZ. I have filmed a 10yr old girl and a 95 yr old man. A friend has taken his 4 yr old son and only abandoned a tandem with his 2 yr old due to media attention and public pressure. There is an age restiction for tandem in Australia, I think it is 16 years but could be 18.
You may obtain an "A" licence in NZ if you are over 16.
There is no official limit, but many dropzones will have their own 'limit', such as 60 or 70. If you are considering a skydive at that age it is wise to check with your doctor first.
It depends on were you go to sky dive, it varies. I suggest calling the place up and asking.
