i am a swimmer..before practice I usually eat a banana, apples, Oranges or any fruit. The different fruits and vegetables help with the energy levels to keep a good pace in the pool. Before a race I usually eat the same fruits and drink ALOT of water because believe it or not we DO dehydrate in the pool! Gatorades are also a good drink to drink because it helps replace lost electrolytes.

The most popular British synchronized swimmers are Jenna Randall and Olivia Federici. They represented Britian in duet at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and at the London 2012 Olympics they swam in both the duet and team events.
Synchronized swimming is for women only in the Olympics because there have never been more than a few strong male synchronized swimmers.
nothing
Synchronized swimming does not stink! It is a great sport and has many dedicated swimmers. It is a very difficult sport and many people practice for hours every day. To be elite take slots of hard work and if you ask anyone who has competed at this level they will tell you how hard they have to train and how difficult it is. Having done synchronized swimming myself I know it is a great sport and its time that people recognize it for the sport that it is.
Synchronized swimming is a hybrid form of swimming, dance and gymnastics, consisting of swimmers (either solos, duets, trios, or teams) performing a synchronized routine of elaborate moves in the water, accompanied by music. Synchronized swimming demands advanced water skills, and requires great strength, endurance, flexibility, grace, artistry and precise timing, as well as exceptional breath control when upside down underwater.
