The ROTC instructors in colleges and universities are military personnel and are paid the standard pay rates for their rank and time in grade.
It depends on the learner's party & the level of their swiming because some people comes to learn specific swimming styles.
It of course depends on where you are but it seems to range from 450-900 a week during the summer for regular instructors. Actual college coaches who instruct additionally in the summer and head instructors of programs with any level of relative prestige make around 850-1900 a week depending on resume and yacht club. Instructors at institutes or general non-yacht-clubs make less
That depends on where you work, and what type of instructor you are. Assistant Instructors earn less that Dinghy Instructors, Senior Instructors earn more. You probably mean a Dinghy Instructor (DI). I am paid £6.37 an hour, for being a DI on a reservoir, so not coastal, but rates vary from club to club. My advice would be to check your local club.
To keep warm, as sometimes they can be in the water for a few hours at a time and might be stationary at times.

That will depend on the complexity of the business. Is this a full time or part time endeavor? Is space going to be leased, provided free, or shared with other schools. Will the instructors be paid or do they volunteer?
