Fake, no. When they fall, there is no stunt double who runs in and does it for them. Those mats are not soft. Neither is the floor under it. Yes, it's a bit padded, but not enough to help. The chair shots they take are real and dangerous,of course. The tables they go through are still real wooden tables. Also, when they jump off tables and ladders and the ring, its all real. You will see them hitting the ground. Now sometimes whenever they go to head bash someone into lets say.. the reporting table thingy (not sure what its called) the other wrestler will sometimes protect themselfs and use their hands. And they really do punch each other. I agree mainly with your answer except for the fact that the outcome is pre-determined. So the wreslters in the match or trying to win. Also, they aren't trying to inflict pain on one another, they protect their opponents. I love the WWE but it is fake.
