The ball at the top of the flag pole is probably just there for decoration. Or, it may simply be there to balance out the pole... who knows? But according to my friends, it's also to keep the flag from flying off the pole, too.
Red is on top.

All error coins need to be seen for an accurate assessment. Take it to a coin dealer. Filled die errors are very common for all denominations of U.S. coins.

I don't know if it is different with a metal bat(i dont see how) but I did play D-1 college baseball and we use to do drills where we would practice hitting a ball off a tee with a downward swing and try hitting the back half of the baseball so that we would put backspin on it. Our coaches also had us watch tape of great pro hitters doing the same thing. We were told that backspin caused the ball to carry farther off the bat.
Yes because it's wider near the top end and skinnier at the bottom.
A Baseball bat is a third-class lever because the fulcrum is on the end of one side, the effect force is in the middle, and the resistant force, the load, is at the top.
Third class.
The fastest pitch ever recorded was 106.1 Mph. This was achieved by Closer/Reliever Aldoris Chapman, against the Pittsburgh Pirates. A baseball being hit could go 120+ off the bat.
Well, I guess that depends on what side of the bat is up when you call it the top. Starting at the fat end of the bat, that is just called the Tip. Then the rest of the fat part of the bat is called the Barrel. Then it tapers down to the Handle. Around the handle is the Grip. Then at the very end, the part that stops your hands from sliding off of the bat is called the Knob.
yes, i put 4 tennis balls in a bat by taking the top off and it went over the fence at 225ft i only hit 1 home run ever with the combat B1 31/21 at 200ft
top section of the bat... where the handle joins the bat
With respects to the sport of baseball (which I believe is the root of your question), the term "top of the fifth" simply refers to the first half of the fifth inning during which the visiting team has the opportunity to bat. After the visiting team cycles through their allotted three outs, the inning enters the bottom of the inning. Each inning has both a "top" and "bottom" half. The actual term "top" or "bottom" of an inning stems from the placement of the score on either the top or bottom section of a scoreboard or scorecard.
yea they take your top off i remember when i got fitted it was scary..
