Some women's professional sports teams whose names do not end in "s" include the Chicago Sky (WNBA), the Orlando Pride (NWSL), and the Minnesota Lynx (WNBA). Additionally, the Utah Royals (NWSL) and the Los Angeles Sparks (WNBA) also fit this criterion. These teams represent various sports leagues but have unique naming conventions that set them apart from the majority of teams that do end in "s."
Why SHOULDNT they ? Men have their sports that only they are allowed to play , but we dont . We dont have a professional womens baseball league . We dont have many teams for women's football . Because males dominate the sports world . Even The WNBA is not followed as regularly as the NBA because they are not men and therefore in many people's eyes must not be as good or be worth watching . So let women have our flippin volleyball .
