Many sports are offered at the University of Texas. Basketball, Football, Baseball, Wrestling, Volleyball, Tennis, Softball, and Golf. Most of these sports have a women's and men's team and some are nationally recognized.

This is a matter of opinion. Texas A&M offers many great science and biology programs, while University of Texas offers many award-winning business and engineering programs.
Purdue University in Indiana and University of Kentucky in Kentucky are known for their agricultural programs. Texas A&M in Texas is also an agricultural university; the "A" stands for Agricultural and the "M" stands for mechanical.
