No, a player gets only one move at a time. Once the player moves the pawn to the back rank, the pawn is promoted to any piece the player chooses. Then it is the other player's move. Thus it is possible to checkmate the other king immediately upon the pawn's promotion.

No you do not get another turn when a pawn gets promoted.When the pawn reaches the last rank it becomes any piece it would like to be promoted to. This piece. Has to wait until it's next turn to move.

Yep, you can have as many Queens as you want. If you run out of actual Queen pieces, you can use an upside-down Rook or a pawn lying on its side.

The pawn's move to the point where it can be promoted is considered a move and once promoted the Queen must allow the opponent their turn .
