Stripes. In 8 Ball, players refer to the numbered balls as either High and Low, or, Stripes and Solids. The high balls are also the striped balls.

There aren't any high balls in billiards.

I think you are referring to snooker. You have the balck ball at value 7 points in snooker and is the high value ball.
