If you mean doing multiple back handsprings at one time, yes. This tumbling move is legal on most levels, but you may want to check the competition rules at your competition's official website. Also, if you can't already do this move, don't expect to just be able to do it because you're on the squad. It also takes gymnastics training and a lot of practice.
If you are in school and want to do cheerleading, you need to try out for it.If you do All-Star or Pop Warner you sign up, pay a fee, and are placed on a team also you need to be athletic, srtong, and have to be able to do simple tumbling ( cartwheel, roundoff, ect.).
Male cheerleaders were actually the first humans to be cheerleaders. They started with males, and then as the years went on females began to join.
If the girls sibling goes to a different school where he plays hockey, the girl will be able to cheer for her brothers school. Or If the school the girl attends does not have a hockey program, she may try-out to cheer with another school. (I'm a coach for a mid-states hockey cheerleading squad) :)

Gymnastics and dance seem to be part of the cheerleading skill set. If you can find a cheerleader willing to help tutor you to get ready for the tryouts, that would help. However, getting ready may take months rather than weeks since there is a lot to learn.
