Rugby Union is still played because it is one of the more popular sports in the UK, Europe, Australia, Pacific Islands and Asia. Rugby is still played because it is so much more exciting than football. Rugby players have to be a lot more skilled than football players and a lot tougher/braver as they cannot fall over clutching their hair and behaving like a big girls blouse every time someone taps them on the ankle!!! But some people fail to see the fact that football players are such wusses who cant talk properly and get paid huge sums of money for looking all pretty and girly and falling over when necessary to earn themselves a free kick or penalty.
