Why don't pro ice hockey players pick up their sticks on the ice?

1. The stick may be broken.
2. The stick may have gotten too far to reach and the player is in a position where the puck may be.

Will Stiga rod hockey players fit a Franklin Pro rod hockey game?
I have been wondering the same thing... I have the franklin ultimate rod hockey pro model and one players stick is bigger than the other players due to the slot offset on the playing surface.. i have found that the stiga rod hockey players all have the same size sticks...im a little upset that i too cannot find options to pick new teams/players out

It is the same as hockey, except the teams are not set up, it is random and everybody puts their sticks into the middle and one person throws them to different sides and then you pick up your stick and you are on that team.
What should a new minor hockey mom know?
Dont go nuts like some moms, it gets weird and some kids get chirped for it. Support your child if he/she wants to go somewhere with hockey. Dont buy your child gear, have them pick it out but be prepared to dish out a fair amount of money, its not a cheap game (i spent around $900 on sticks this year). Attend all the games so your child feels supported. And make sure your child eats healthy and exercises outside of hockey but still does their best in school and hopefully they can take the game they love to the next level.
