That's incorrect he has played for England in short sleeve T-shirts before, also in his autobiography there's a picture of his arms, he says something along the lines of there's that invisible Everton tattoo that everyone claims I have. I also worked in his house and seen him in short sleeve T-shirts a couple of times.
