Glenn "Jeep" Davis

A great, great name from the past! Davis won gold in 400 meter hurdles and 4X400 meter relay at the 1960 Games in Rome. He also won gold in 400 meter hurdles at the 1956 Games in Melbourne. Davis played 2 seasons (1960-1961) with the Lions as a wide receiver and had career numbers of 10 receptions for 132 yards and 0 TDs.

Another blast from the past is 'Bullet' Bob Hayes who won gold in 100 meter dash and 4x100 meter relay at the 1964 Games in Tokyo. Hayes had an 11 year career as a wide receiver with the Cowboys (1965-1974) and 49ers (1975) and ended his career with 371 receptions for 7414 yards and 71 TDs. He also scored 2 TDs rushing and another 3 on punt returns. Bob was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2009.
