Based on the research that I've done Al Cueto of Tulsa University was the first Latino to be drafted by an NBA team, but he would never play in the NBA. He played two seasons in the ABA. The first Latino to play in the NBA is a Puerto Rican named Alfred "Butch" Lee who played for Marquette University.
