No.
The last Liverpool player to be knighted was Sir Kenny Dalglish. He received his knighthood in 2018 for his services to football and charity. Dalglish is widely regarded as one of the greatest players and managers in the history of the club. His contributions both on and off the pitch have left a lasting legacy at Liverpool FC.
The last English club to,win the cup was Liverpool in 2004-2005.
Kenny Dalglish joined Liverpool from Glasgow Celtic in the summer of 1977. He made his competitive debut in the Charity Shield on 13-Aug-1977, his league debut at Middlesbrough on 20-Aug-77 and his Anfield debut on 23-Aug-77 (scoring in both games). Kenny continued to play, even after becoming the Liverpool manager in 1985, finally retiring with his last league performance against Coventry 5-May-1990. In the aftermath of the Hillsborough disaster, Dalglish resigned from the club on 22-Feb-1991 stating "health" as his reason for going. The current Liverpool manager, Rafael Benetiz, asked Dalglish to return to the club as an ambassador which he did on 3-Jul-2009.
As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, Kenny Dalglish is not the caretaker manager of Liverpool. He previously served as both a player and manager for the club, with his most notable managerial stint occurring from 2011 to 2012. Current managerial positions may have changed since then, so it's best to check the latest news for the most accurate information.
