Kenneth Michael "The Snake" Stabler was the Quarterback of the Oakland Raiders from 1970-79, the then Houston Oilers from 1980-81, and the New Orleans Saints from 1982-84. He played College Football for the Alabama Crimson Tide, being recruited by Alabama's legendary coach Bear Bryant.
Although he played for 3 NFL teams, he is best known and remembered for his tenure with the Raiders during the period current NFL commentator John Madden coached Oakland. Stabler was in a class of Quarterback that included Roger Staubach in Dallas and Terry Bradshaw in Pittsburgh.
