wilt chamberlien was better in stats 10 rebounding titles in 13 years, 7 straight scoring titles. But he only had 2 championships to Micheal's 6 rings. Micheal was by far better in the clutch. He did have impressive stats with 3 steals titles and 10 scoring. But take into accout MJ had Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman. Wilt was on the lowly 76'ers and Warriors for the majority of his career and defintly his prime. In all depended on wilt to how far the team went. You can't say he didn't contibute with all his stats plus in '65 when he won his first championship with the 76'er he led the league in assits that year, a big man doing that! Plus he took his team to the Eastern Conference Finals numurous times in the 60's. All against the Celtics who had Bill Russel, Bob Cousy, and john havekiek. All in all i would say wilt because Micheal had the better team around him.
Wilt Chamberlain. He is the Babe Ruth of the NBa, he has set many records that most likely will never be broken. He changed the game and has done more for the game than any other player.
No he wasn't... but Michael jordan was.
if we talking about individual play.,no one can ever reach the Stilt/the Depth WIlt CHamberlain record.,maybe someday. but now its clear, nobody can touch the record of Wilt Chamberlain. but when we talk about team play.,Kobe or Magic.,John Havlicek or Michael and the master Bill Russell should win this category.
Julius Erving,Michael Jordan,or Wilt Chamberlain
wilt chamberlain or Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan
Wilt Chamberlain, Michael Jordan, Bernard King, Gilbert Arenas, Elgin Baylor, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and probably many others.
Only two NBA players have scored more than 3,000 points in a single season; Wilt chamberlain and Michael Jordan. Chamberlain scored more than 3,000 points three times and Jordan once.Wilt Chamberlain (1961-62) - 4,029Wilt Chamberlain (1962-63) - 3,586Michael Jordan (1986-87) - 3,041Wilt Chamberlain (1960-61) - 3,033
Micheal Jordan or Wilt Chamberlain
no one is truly "the best player" but some names are Michael Jordan, kareem Abdul-jabbar and wilt chamberlain
For his NBA career, Wilt averaged 30.07 points per game. That is second all time in NBA history behind Michael Jordan's 30.12 points per game.
Wilt chamberlain more offensive while Bill russell was becoming on of the biggest defensive players of all time. But I say wilt statistically was better
Michael Jordan is my opinion. Yes; it is really a toss between Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain, who was also an absolutely magnificent player. They both certainly gave the sport a new injection of life and public notice.
