Jason Garrett was named interim head coach of the Dallas Cowboys on November 8, 2010. He officially became the team's eighth head coach on January 5, 2011. Garrett, who was a backup quarterback for the Cowboys from 1993 to 1999, is the first former Dallas player to become the team's head coach.
