Someone once told me that it was man city team that won in 1967-68, but could not provide any stats to back it up.

There may be some degree of doubt as MCFC do not cry it from the rooftops that they have that distinction

Last record of this was in 1967/68 when Manchester City won the League and 10 of them were from Manchester.

It was my team Aston villa in a game they lost 4-1 to Coventry in 1999. Middelsbourgh I think also came close to doing it in a game v Fulham just before Mcclaren took the England job, but James Morrison was later capped by Scotland.

Middlesbrough FC Away to Fulham Sunday 7th May 2006.

Although one player went on to represent Scotland only one manin the matchday squad was born more than 25 miles from Middlesbrough.
