In netball, intimidation refers to tactics used by players to exert psychological pressure on their opponents, making them feel uneasy or less confident during the game. This can include aggressive body language, vocal taunts, or close marking that disrupts an opponent's focus and performance. While competitive spirit is encouraged, overt intimidation is generally frowned upon as it goes against the sport's principles of respect and fair play. Referees may intervene if such behavior is deemed excessive or unsportsmanlike.
