Mike Wilson played for the Peterborough Petes in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) during his junior career. He was selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the first round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. Wilson's time with the Petes helped him develop his skills before moving on to the professional level.
