soccer was first originated by the Chinese game chu. they played it with a leather ball at first stuffed then deflated so that it went faster. then the greek game of episkyrosstarted. that was played with a ball made of linen and hair which was wrapped in string and sewn together. soccer then became one of the most popular games because it was a "war game".
