The Green Bay Packers are still the Green Bay Packers.
Greatness! 1961 George Brashier, eqiupment manager, created it. Packers had logos before but the first and only one on the helmet is the G for greatness. It's a trademarked "G" and the universities that use it have permission from the Packers.
They didnt become any team they are still the "Green Bay Packers"
