if you're trying out for county and you're about 14, then you should aim to get between 8-11 in the bleep test. It all depends on what position you play, I play centre and I'm a level 9.8. Centre's usually have to be the fittest players on court becausethey have to last the whole game. But if you play GS/GK where there isn't much running, then I'd say to aim for level 8.

But make sure you try

your best, don't just stop at level 8 if you could've

done better. The bleep test is mainly about your mental strength, your body can always keep going, you just have to tell it to. When you feel a little discomfort just ignore it and look at the next cone and say to yourself that you'll get there. Never give up, just try your best. Make sure you never stop yourself, but always try to get to the next cone, and if you run out of time, then well at least you tried your best. So pat on the back and well done.

Also, another good way of knowing whether or not you tried your best is that after the test you should be really tired with your hands on your knees and you can't talk to anyone for like 2 mins.

Then, keep walking around to circulate your blood for about 5 mins.

Also try YOUR best, don't just try to be as good as someone else.

Good luck!!!
