A 1966 New York Yankees yearbook with "signed baseballs" cover is worth between $40.00 - $60.00 Value is based on average prices from recently closed auctions of publications in excellent condition. Issues in mint condition or in less than excellent condition will sell higher or lower accordingly.

Common flaws include: rips, creases, staining, cracked binding and loose pages. Condition is important, and even minor flaws could devalue the yearbook significantly.

There are five editions for the 1966 yearbook.. The first 4 editions roster page (6) dated April, 12 (first Edition), May 20 (second Edition), June 13 (Third Edition), and July 14 for the fourth Edition. The second, third and forth editions has "Revised" printed on the cover. The Fifth Edition roster page dated Aug. 31 reads "Final Edition" on the cover, and can sell at a higher price. The 1989 New York Mets Yearbook with the cover picturing Strawberry, Gooden, Carter, others has a book value of $10.00 - $15.00 in near/mint condition.

Condition is very important on getting anywhere near this price. I did a search on eBay and the prices were far below market value. Common flaws with yearbooks would be staining, foxing (yellowing), fading color, stains, creases, rips, loose pages, cracked binding, and writing on the cover.
