I believe that is all!
lol - you guys obviously haven't been watching the NFL for too long...there are many teams that have finished with better records that did not make the playoffs, but the team that comes most to mind is the 1967 Colts. They actually went into the last game of the season against the Rams undefeated at 11-0-2. The Rams were 10-1-2 going into the game. The Rams won and owned the tie-breaker so they made the playoffs at 11-1-2 while the Colts, who had the same record, missed out.
Talk about disappointment - imagine going into the last game without a loss and then missing the playoffs. Yes - that was a sad day in Baltimore.
the patriots entered 18-0 but lost 14-17 against the 13-6 giants (giants made playoffs bearly, were the last team in the playoffs, were NOT expected for a Super Bowl appearance yrs., and yet won against the undefeated team in a super bowl, the giants also almost lost to a team that went with 1 win the entire season in the regualr season the team with 1 win, only beat the ravens...who at the time weren't good either)
