Fastpitch bats are limited to 34 inches in length and a 98mph reaction limit. and I think the barrel can only be 2 and 1/2 inches around it is different by the way it is made. Definitely fast pitch bat. FP bats are usually composite bats, they make the ball go farther and they also reduce sting in the hands. SP bats are usually metal bats and don't make the ball go as far and causes a sting in the hands when hitting the ball. You can also use metal bats in FP softball but it is much better to use a composite
a slow pitch is when the pitch is softer and the turf soaks up the force of the ball making it slower and a fast pitch is when the pitch is hard and the ball bounces off like concrete making it go faster
The difference between the two bats is the way they are made. The weight is different. And the weight distribution is also different.
depends on the league playing but most slowpitch balls are smaller than fastpitch balls
