after you are over 230, the size does not really matter. the height should be little bit over 6 feet. its the speed and strength that matters. bench should be around 320 pounds, squat around 400 and dead lift around 330. the 40 yard dash should be around 4.7 sec since you sometimes gotta chase down the tight ends and the running back and sack the QB during blitz. I a only 217, but with right technique, i dont see much problem playing my position as a outside linebacker.
about 190-210
For a varsity middle linebacker the average is about 210lbs, but this has to be mostly lean muscle mass.
it depends what school you go to Most schools have both.
Ive started varsity since my freshmen year. Came in at 160 and now as a senior im 5'11 210 benching around 375 and squating around 450 I start on varisty football and I'm 5'10, 220 pounds and bench 260 and squat a lil over 300 I also start varsity but im 5'11 195 lbs and bench 345 and squat a lil bit over 400 i start at varsity im 5'9" 234 pounds bench 245 and squat about 500 i start varsity as well. im 5'4" 138 pounds bench 450 and squat somewhere around 740 Ac25, Hey I'm trying to be a line backer too I looked up some information, and it said on average a high school line backer shold weigh about 180 minimum -250 maximum pounds
depends on the toughness and how mean the kid is usually about 180 - 205 I weigh 240 but ^ he/she is right it really depends on toughness and how much you wanna play + you have to have some type of strength or be really fast like an outside linebacker who is about 195 in high school
varsity only
at my school its like a 50.5 or below for really good teams it can be as low as 48 or 49
My sister plays on a varsity team for Wolf pack. My high school varsity (American) football team repeatedly failed miserably.
no, for school cheer leading you are only able to be on one team at a time. varsity is for older, better cheer athletes while junior varsity is for younger.
yes. there are many. :>
Means you participated on varsity for half the season or half the meats
Varsity in Tagalog is "varsity." It is a borrowed word from English commonly used to refer to students who are part of a school or university's official sports team.
