usually the point guard is smaller because the shooting guard may have to come in and get a rebound if the other team is strong .

there isn't really a huge height difference between the two .

They are usually 6-2 or 6-3 but one point guard named Shaun Livingston is 6-7 and shot people like nate robinsin are 5-9. The shortest was 5-3 (Muggsey Bogues)

I think the average height is about 6'3" in the NBA and college level but in my opinion u can be a man of average height (5'8"-5'11") and still be good. look at Allen iverson
