Any ball that lands in the area within the foul line
Home plate is in fair territory.
Short answer: NO
It simple has to be in fair territory there is no distance it has to travel.
You could see how high it bounces, how far it rolls, or how far it goes.
It is because USA beats everyone every time, and people think that it is not fair at all.
There are lines placed to divide the foul territory and the fair territory. Any ball that lands on the foul territory will be called foul. When the ball enters the fair territory, ball is at play.
You can do it on if a aluminum or a wooden bat makes the ball go the farther distance! :) That got me an A.
no it is not in the Olympics. it's not in the Olympics because since it is an American sport, USA Dominates in baseball and softball. So the olympic omittee doesn't think it's fair because no other countries have a chance.
Stealing is a term used in both baseball and softball which is when a runner on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd base leaves their base right after a pitch to try to get to the next base when the ball is not hit: either foul or fair.
