Generally speaking a catcher throws back to the pitcher, each pitch he catches. This throw however, is a direct, straight one, but has a velocity 75 miles per hour or less. The catcher's most throws travel a short distance to the pitcher who stands 50 feet 7 inches away ( generally ) However, often times a catcher is involved in a "live" throw which is thrown to stop a base-runner from stealing base, or the catcher is throwing the ball to one of his fellow players in an ongoing play that requires him to throw with accuracy and good speed. In such situations, the catcher may throw a Baseball anywhere between 75 to 85 miles per hour.
From the time the catcher touches the ball til the ball reaches 2nd for a good catcher is 1.6 to 1.7 seconds.
If the catcher has a good enough arm to, then yes. It is the fastest way.
Yes I think as long as u can throw beyond 20ft u r very good..:)
The pitcher in baseball trys to throw the ball to the back catcher who is behind the home plate.
Also Im Freshman, about 5ft 7, 162lb im a good catcher i am quite strong. I can run fast in short bursts.
To be good at rounders you have to be a very good catcher, have a good aim, throw quite far and accurate. You also have to be quite fast to get a full rounders.
idk but i ran a 15.68 and people tell me that's good..im a freshman 2 ..it sure would be easier to work down
A noun is used as the subject of a sentence or a clause, and as the object of a verb or a preposition. Here are some sentences using throw as a noun.A throw of the dice allows a player to move forward. (subject of the sentence)The catcher made a good throw to second base. (direct object of the verb 'made')We were allowed two throws each at a dollar per throw. (object of the preposition 'per')
We put the 'fresh' in freshman! :) that ones my favorite!
Are you a guy? Had a meet today, threw 113. I'd say that's pretty good. But if you are aiming to be on track to throw 200, 130 would be better. If you can manage 125, you might have a good chance on making sectionals (/districts)...depending on your location.
Yea that sounds about right! Great job, my fastest was 55.8 as a freshman
I would say anything under 11:00 is good for a freshman and anything under 10:20 you could be running with the upperclassman.
