Are you a guy? Had a meet today, threw 113. I'd say that's pretty good. But if you are aiming to be on track to throw 200, 130 would be better. If you can manage 125, you might have a good chance on making sectionals (/districts)...depending on your location.

I've known a couple of javelin throwers, and usually, the D1 throwers throw around 150 ft (45 meters) by the end of their freshman season and progress roughly 5 meters each season. I've been throwing javelin for a while (6 years) and am also a freshamn in hs, and I can throw maybe 40 meters right now but am aiming to hit 50 meters (170 ft) by the end of the season
