Tim Lincecum is 5'5 and throws upper ninnies it is all in your core and thighs if you have strong thighs you will pitch very hard. As track goes at most only jog a 1/2 mile. Bullpens I would throw are most likely pitch selection bullpens try to hit spots with your pitches and what ever your worst pitch is throw it the most in practice.
