What is a 'slapper' in fast pitch softball?

A slapper is someone who normally bats on the left hand side and walks from the back to the front of the batters box while attempting to hit the ball. If you need any help I am a slapper and am willing to answer any more questions. Just post them in my message board!

A slapper is a batter that moves up on the ball when she is hitting to "slap" it into a hole in the infield then beat the throw to first base. A slapper is generally very fast and bats left-handed.
