The closest was Super Bowl XIV when the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Los Angeles Rams at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. and Super Bowl XIX when the San Francisco 49ers beat the Miami Dolphins at Stanford Stadium. The NFL awards the Super Bowl to a city four years in advance. If a team won their conference championship and the Super Bowl was scheduled on their home field, the game would go on as planned.

Lambeau field Correction - Soldier field opened in 1924, while Lambeau field was built in 1956. Soldier field has had a few renovations and parts rebuilt, which has caused the government to de-classify it as a landmark, and many people to not consider it as the oldest field anymore. College teams and NFL teams both have played at Fraklin Field, which is still in use by the University of Pennsylvania collegiate teams and was built in 1895.
The Cowboys, Colt, and Saint CAN play on there home field in 2011, 2012, and 2013, respectively.
