I believe there's two goalies in every hockey game.
2013: Cory Schneider and Roberto Luongo
A team generally dresses two goalies for every game. Some teams have a third goalie who is not dressed. I understand if both goalies should get hurt and neither can continue to play, another player on the team must dress in goalie equipment and play the rest of the game.
Professional teams do not swap players for single games, although several times teams have traded players to their opponents in a division or league. If both dressed goalies were to be injured in a game, a non-goalie player could dress and take the goal, as has happened numerous times in less regulated play.
Yes, definitely. lots of ice hockey goalies wear two cups. A regular cup jock and then a special goalie cup over top of that. Usually the size and speed of the puck or ball being shot at the net determines wether a goalie would need to wear a goalie cup. Lacrosse and ice hockey goalies wear cups but soccer goalies generally dont wear a cup
You wouldn't be able to.

Two, like most NHL teams. They are: 1. Mikka Kiprusoff 2. Henrik Karlsson On very rare occasions some teams may decide to carry three goalies, but the disadvantages usually outweigh the advantages of this arrangement as it is too difficult to give all the goalies enough playing time to keep them all sharp and happy.
In net refers to where the goalie will play. A coach may tell one of the two goalies who is starting by saying to them that they are in net.
During play, only one goalie is allowed on the ice per team.
The two goalies for the Buffalo Sabres are Ryan Miller and Patrick Lalime. Currently, Miller is injured, so the Sabres have recalled Jhonas Enroth to back up Lalime.
Absolutely impossible to answer. If ANYONE were ever able to answer these two questions, the need for most of the police forces in the world could be eliminated.
