The two goalies for the Buffalo Sabres are Ryan Miller and Patrick Lalime. Currently, Miller is injured, so the Sabres have recalled Jhonas Enroth to back up Lalime.
The Buffalo Sabres serve WESTERN NEW YORK, NOT UPSTATE. The New York Rangers serve Eastern Upstate and NYC. The New York Islanders serve Long Island. You can clearly see the Buffalo Sabres fan-base ends abruptly around Syracuse. Also, there are disproportionate sects of green and other colors that are due to college votes, which are a result of transplants from different areas. As the map gets filled in more, eventually you will be able to see the Rangers filling up most of Eastern NY state and the Sabres western. Even the Sabres advertisements are geared toward the "Western NY community." People really need to get a grip on this. Albany is technically Upstate, but its more than twice the distance from Buffalo as NYC. Would you suggest its in a Buffalo market?

Lindy Ruff was appointed Buffalo's 15th head coach in franchise history on July 21, 1997. In just his second season as a head coach in the NHL, Ruff led the Sabres to their first Stanley Cup Finals in 24 years, and established himself as one of the top young coaches in the league. In his time behind the Sabres' bench, Ruff has guided his team to 32 career playoff wins in five seasons. The win mark makes him the all-time winningest coach in the postseason for Buffalo, surpassing the legendary Scotty Bowman's total of 18 wins (set over five seasons). He also achieved a club record in 1999 for the most wins in one playoff year with 14. In the process, Ruff became only the third head coach under the present Stanley Cup Playoff format to lead his team to the Conference Finals in each of his first two seasons (Jean Perron with Montreal in 1986 and 1987; Mike Milbury with Boston in 1990 and 1991). Ruff led Buffalo to a 19-7-5 record to start the 1998-99 season as the Sabres finished the 1998 calendar year (1/1/98-12/31/98) with the second-best record in the NHL.

No, they are two separate species: Cape Buffalo are from Africa and possess the scientific name Syncerus caffer and Water Buffalo are from Asia, with the scientific name Bubalus bubalis. Cape Buffalo are also larger and more muscular than water buffalo, and look quite different from Water Buffalo. For instance: A cape buffalo's horns come together at the poll and curve out and up on either side of their heads. A water buffalo's horns grow more to the back of the animal. The Cape Buffalo can also bellow like domestic cattle, along with a series of other vocalizations. Water buffalo only make grunting sounds. Please see the related links below for more information.

There were far more than just two tribes that greatly depended on the buffalo, but two examples would be the Plains Cree and the Assiniboine. I hope that helps!
