Heating a Baseball bat will add a decent distance to a hit. The bat is heated and the molecules in the bat move faster and cause the ball to come of the bat faster. One way i do this is that i heat my oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and stick the barrel of the bat in and let it rest on the shelve for about 10 minutes i then remove the bat with oven mitts and if it stays warm your in good shape if it doesn't place it in a thick Jacket during the game and also keep a heating pad in the jacket so it Maintains the heat
