To become a professional cheerleader, you have to do Cheerleading in high school, and be pretty good. Like, you can be the base person, but you have to rock at it. But being the flyer is better.
Anyway, then you go into some college (with a scholorship is good) and try out for the team. If you make it, yay for you! If not, too bad, so sad. :(
I would start out on a youth or high school team to gain skills. Take tumbling classes to get a back handspring so you can make a level 3 team. Continue tumbling and the more skills you gain the farther you can move up in the all star world.
You do not have to try out to be an All-Star cheerleader. You first need to find a local All-Star gym. You sign up, and pay a monthly fee.

Answer To be a cheer coach you have to have experience. My cheer coach has been coaching cheer for 23 years and we were world champs last year. What does that tell you? Most cheer coaches go to college like normal but you have to be licensed.
Go to the cheer coach and ask if there are any openings and if she says yes then ask if you can tryout.
i believe so.

Be the best cheerleader!
Self Education is a must to become a good coach first.
It really depends on where you are coaching & how much THEY pay you. Honestly, coaches for cheer do not get paid a lot. If you love cheer, that's what makes you want to coach, not how much money you make. If you are not devoted to coaching, it's definitely not the job for you.
To be a certified coach you must complete training by the USASF (United States All-Star Federation) or the AACCA (American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators.)
Almost all High Schools have Cheer Squads. If they don't it is most likey because they didn't have enough interest during tryout or that the don't have anyone that is willing to coach it.
